my poetry
what will you do without me
will you give your voice to another
will a new love carry your rhyme in their heart
will you remember me
I cared for you, caressed you, loved you with my soul
I whispered to you, silent longings late at night
In firelights embrace, we promised forever; foolish lovers often do
And though death may take you from my lips
I will follow you past the stars
And live in our words
until we meet again
